Inspired.
I was upset that your strip had vanished from my regular online comics emails. Just glad you have the website.
I just gotta have my CBW.

Yay, I found you!!! Your strip ends up as my computer background at least twice a week, along with Foxtrot. I have your Sunday strip about Ivy playing with the babies up right now!

What happened? Your strip vanished from my regular online comics emails, also. But I’m really glad to find this site.

Whew! Was out of the country for 2 months, and freaked when I finally believed my own eyes…your comic was GONE!! I just caught up with the cartoon life of your family. As usual, your story line has me hooked. Thanks, Karen.

My goodness, I don’t log in for a weekend and you reincarnate Lola Granola from Bloom County as a 12-year-old (not quite a slutty though).

I am also glad to have found the site – I love the Princess Bride, have anger issues, and have a child with autism. I didn’t know what I was going to do without checking out your strip on a daily basis.

Dear Karen,
I read your blog about a favorite picture of Eve. I think you like that one because she DOESN’T have heavy lipstick, her eyelids don’t droop, and her nose is NOT extra-long near the end. You could draw her like this all the time.
Really happy that you are continuing the cartoon. I look at it every day, and enjoyed it since it first started in the San Francisco Chronicle.
Best wishes, “M”

12/5 3rd panel — I want to be that happy at least once in the next year.
This comment was from Jim J. Jewett. Sorry, I accidentally deleted it. I copied and pasted it back in here from my email. My apologies!

Love your strip and am enjoying the blog. I do find your website a bit frustrating, though. Either I can’t find, or you don’t have, archives that go back more than 2 weeks. Since I didn’t find your website until over a month after your strip stopped appearing in my inbox, I’m bummed. I was looking forward to seeing Manny and Eve’s take on the election. Hope you plan to add more user friendly (for those of us who are only computer semi-literate) and extensive archives at some point. Keep up the great strips! As far as I am concerned, they rank right up there with “For Better or For Worse”, “Foxtrot” and “Calvin and Hobbes”.

Woo Hoo !! I found you !!!!
I’ve missed reading CBW everyday.
I agree with Dee’s post. How did Manny and Eve handle the election?
